Gestyx® Axion®, the cube for gestating cows [Breeder testimony]
Alexandre Carlier has tested the Gestyx Axion Cube on his suckler cows. He tells us about his findings:
For this trial, the cows were divided into two groups: one group receiving cod liver oil, which I usually distribute at breeding, and a second group with Gestyx® Axion®. The first thing I noticed was the very good palatability of the Cube, as shown by the good consumption figures. I also noticed better calvings: only one calving difficulty with Gestyx® Axion® compared with 1 cow in 2 for the group without the Cube, which resulted in a large extra cost! The calves are more vigorous at birth and will drink more quickly from their mothers. I am convinced of the benefits of this Cube: it’s an easy-to-use product and when it comes to calving, the difference is obvious!

GESTYX AXION®, a lever for improving dry period [TRIAL]
Antioxidant reserves are greatly reduced at the end of the dry period. This is due to a transfer to the foetus and colostrum. This “hole in the reserves” known as “oxidative stress” is linked to an increase in the number of metabolic diseases after calving and a drop in colostrum quality.
