GALAPHOS® Origine: specific minerals for targeted objectives
GALAPHOS® Origine minerals are formulated to respond to different situations in livestock farming (high performance, grazing, feed efficiency, etc.) or to supplement the basic ration. They contain trace elements and vitamins that are more easily assimilated and bio-available by the animal: rumino-protected vitamin A, chelates, organic selenium and magnesium phosphate.
GALAPHOS® Origine means:
- Formulas adapted to the major problems encountered in livestock farming
- Flavouring to ensure optimum palatability
GALAPHOS® Expert: minerals tailored to livestock rations
ALAPHOS® Expert minerals are formulated according to the ration, the animals and the objectives of the livestock farm, as part of a global approach. The technician and the breeder use the Chorus® rationing software to integrate the characteristics of the ration, the animals’ needs and the objectives of the livestock farm. Based on an initial proposal, other options can be tested to get the best quality/price ratio. For greater precision, forage analysis is a valuable tool for determining the mineral profile of the ration.
GALAPHOS® Expert means:
- A customised mineral solution
- A thorough, precise and economical approach!
- Available in micro-semolina
GALAPHOS® Nature: minerals with natural antioxidants
GALAPHOS® Nature is a range of minerals that is more respectful of the needs of animals and the well-being of breeders. It draws its naturalness from plant extracts which have a higher antioxidant value than vitamin E, optimising animal performance.
GALAPHOS® Nature means:
- Flavonoids input that improve the performance of animals and their offspring
- Naturalness in a mineral
- A range adapted to all breeding situations
- Available in micro-semolina
The various GALAPHOS® shapes
Micro-Semoulette: the ideal presentation for minerals
Micro-Semoulette has a more homogeneous and fine granulometry than other mineral presentations. This reduces the risk of demix and ensures better sticking to the ration. It also offers unique ease of use by limiting dust. Using the micro-semolina means limiting mineral losses at the bottom of the bag or in the troughs and improving the breeder’s well-being when pouring the products into the mixer or onto the ration.
Our expert testifies:
“For years, the CCPA group has been working continuously to improve the Micro-Semoulette presentation. Some time ago, only one of the raw materials was sprayed manually to limit the amount of dust on the product. Today, we work upstream by selecting some of the raw materials according to their particle size. In addition, we have installed an automatic spraying process for the entire mineral. The dust level has been greatly reduced and the homogeneity of the mineral improved”. Cédric Even, Industrial Process Technician.
Granules, Semoulette and Flour: specific presentations of minerals
- GALAPHOS® Granules are checked for their durability on each production batch.
In this way, we can guarantee that the product is easy to use in livestock distribution systems (automatic feeding unit type). - GALAPHOS® Semolina is checked for particle size to limit the percentage of fine dust.
This ensures good homogeneity and satisfactory mixing with forage on livestock farms. - GALAPHOS® Flour helps meet the needs of entry-level minerals. This limits the economic impact of supplementation on livestock.
The different GALAPHOS® services
The Big Bag support, which facilitates the use of minerals on farms
The Big Bag Support is a steel table on which the big bag can be placed. As a result, the daily use of minerals is quicker, safer and requires less effort on the part of the farmer.
Forage analyses to optimise the choice of mineral
The CCPA Group offers forage analyses to provide a better understanding of the macro- and trace element content of forage and to determine whether the ration contains excesses of contaminants such as iron, aluminium or molybdenum, so that priority can be given to the addition or not of more assimilable forms.
