Deltavit, new ambassador of French Fab

French Fab is to French industry what French Tech is to digital start-ups: a banner under which to rally in order to commercially impact partners or attract talent. Launched in 2017 by the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance and coordinated by Bpifrance, the French Fab label aims to highlight, re-energise and accelerate the development of French industry abroad.

The French Fab label is awarded to companies that are rooted in France, open to the changes brought by digital technology, new technologies and the green economy, and that have the capacity to reinvent themselves. It rewards the attractiveness of French know-how and helps to recognise French excellence and creativity.

Deltavit is one of those industrial companies that produce in France, create jobs, think about the future and are committed to growth, innovation and international expansion. So it has all the assets it needs to be part of the dynamic offered by French Fab: “In 2019, we inaugurated our new factory based in Trégueux (22). This new facility gives new impetus to the Livestock Specialities business to win international markets. We are proud to represent French know-how in countries such as Germany, South Korea and even Egypt,” says Sylvain Lagadou, Deltavit’s Livestock Specialities Business Director.

Based in Brittany, DELTAVIT creates, develops and markets specialised product ranges for livestock, as well as various livestock diagnostics designed to assess the condition of animals and their needs, via a network of distributors in France and abroad. The company has a galenic development laboratory of over 70 m², called La Cuisine, where the teams prototype future solutions in livestock specialities and other nutritional supplements for ruminants, poultry and pigs. “This facility enables us to quickly test a concept, a new product idea, to check whether the solution is worth being developed further by the technical teams. In the old production plant, there was no dedicated space for this, so this is a real innovation accelerator,” says Sylvain Lagadou.

The creation of Deltavit Spain in 2019 reflects this desire to expand the Deltavit brand in one of Europe’s biggest markets. Joining the French Fab network supports the company’s ambition to double its international presence within 3 years.
