Croustivo® permet au rumen de se développer plus rapidement [Témoignages éleveur]
A starter feed that combines several benefits
“I chose Croustivo® because I was looking for a palatable and digestible starter feed adapted to the one-drink-a-day technique. The aim of this feeding plan is twofold: to optimise rapid rumen development and ensure digestive safety. The heifers are developing well, with greater size at weaning and at 6 months. It is a perfect growth/safety compromise! With this technique of one-drink-a-day combined with Croustivo® feed, I have simplified things and saved time. The calves quickly consume solid feed without having to sort out the different components. I rarely have any digestive problems and my calves are in great condition!”
Croustivo® starter feed best practice guide
- As much as you want: allow 20 to 30 kg per calf
- From the first week
- Avoid contamination by drool: start with small quantities, changed every day
- Make the transition to 2nd age feed :
- Before weaning (around 6 weeks) to limit the cost of feeding the heifer
- After weaning (2 weeks after weaning) to maximise growth and capitalise on the career of the future dairy cow
- Thorough monitoring of quantities and good practice in milk distribution
- Water and straw as much as you like
Croustivo® the delicious flake to develop the rumen
- Maximise growth: high level of noble proteins, predigested starch, VivActiv’® Junior plant cocktail.
