Bufflo Tonic Axion®: its new, more practical and more cost-saving packaging

The storage of empty packaging following the use of nutritional products is a real issue for livestock farming.

“It takes up space”; “We pile them up, but we don’t know what to do with them”.

These are recurrent statements heard from livestock farmers. That’s why Deltavit is taking action by offering its Bufflo Tonic Axion® product in 25 kg bags: packaging that contains more product and less plastic.

In fact, given today’s market for packaging raw materials, Deltavit offers a cheaper and more cost-effective product per kg. By reducing its plastic content by 84%, this new packaging cuts the cost per animal and reduces the product’s environmental impact.

Bufflo Tonic Axion, one of the flagship products in the Deltavit range, had already taken action in 2019, offering bulk operations organised at our distributors to reuse the empty buckets that farmers stored at their premises: around 2 tonnes of buckets were reused.

Bufflo Tonic Axion 25 kg bags will be available from May 2022 from Deltavit distributors and a bulk operation campaign will be organised in several shops starting in the autumn.
