In one year, I had distributed 35 lick buckets and 40 salt blocks weighing 25 kg in the meadow. It was a convenient solution, but I lost a lot of product through spillage and rain.  <\/p>\n<p>I want to supplement my herd in the pasture to meet two objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get the reproduction of my cows back to a normal timeframe, because they had staggered and I&#8217;d had some returns after the first bulling<\/li>\n<li>Improve the muscular and skeletal development of my herd<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In my opinion, the best way of mineralising my cows is to provide them with a daily supply of minerals and to distribute Bufflo Tonic Axion when the cows come in. That&#8217;s why, when my technician suggested the mineral feeder, I didn&#8217;t hesitate: it was exactly what I was looking for. <\/p>\n<p>At first, I was a bit worried because the fifteen or so cows and their calves had consumed a 25kg bag of mineral in 4 days, i.e. 416g a day! Fortunately, after 15 days to 3 weeks, the animals began to regulate themselves and consumption fell to 75 g per couple per day. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Preparing animals for artificial insemination<\/h3>\n<p>Since I have been distributing the mineral via this feeder, I have noticed that calvings are going well and that the mothers are getting back in heat! What&#8217;s more, my new objective is to prepare a few animals for artificial insemination by distributing Bufflo Tonic Axion one month after calving. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>4 feeders for his farm<\/h3>\n<p>I have really been won over by this mineral feeder, and I have also invested in 3 other feeders. In financial terms, it doesn&#8217;t cost me any more than a pallet of buckets, even though it&#8217;s a big initial investment.
